Half price therapy! Time limited offer while I'm in IFS training

Half price psychotherapy, anyone? I’m offering therapy at a significantly reduced cost - giving space for you to experience a type of therapy which I’m undergoing training in and which is new to Stroud.

I’m an experienced and qualified UKCP psychotherapist, warm and friendly and relational. I’ve been using IFS in my own life and in my practice for a very long time and now I’ve decided to train more deeply in the modality.

It’s got a slightly different feel to usual therapy but of course you talk about whatever you need to.. It may seem a little weird at first but maybe you might also find it fascinating and exciting and very empowering.

My current training is in something called Internal Family Systems (IFS). It uses Family Systems theory—the idea that individuals cannot be fully understood in isolation from the family unit—to develop techniques and strategies to effectively address issues within a person’s internal community or family. This evidence-based approach assumes each individual possesses a variety of sub-personalities, or “parts,” and attempts to get to know each of these parts better to achieve healing.

Have you seen the film Inside Out? Well, just like in the film, your ‘parts’ are like little people inside of you, each with their own wants, needs, dreams, wishes, and fears. A family of parts trying to do what each thinks is best for you. We’ll get to know these parts and work out together how to move forward with difficulties in your life.

Please be in contact if you’d like to come and try it out. I’m asking for a commitment of 6 weeks and I’ve spaces available on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9.45am and 3pm, and some in the evenings too for those who can’t make during school hours. I’m offering this at £25/session, which is half my usual price. I’m on Lansdown in central Stroud.

I look forward to hearing from you
